Ion
Toothbrush
The Electronic Way to
Prevent Plaque
Plaque is a bacterial slime that forms naturally on your teeth. If
allowed to build up, it can lead to cavities and gum disease. It also
makes your teeth less attractive and may cause bad breath.
Regular brushing helps to scrub away plaque. But ordinary hand and
electric toothbrushes often leave plaque on hard-to-reach tooth
surfaces, what dentists call "plaque prone areas," no matter how
carefully you brush.
Plaque is stubborn because it has a positive polarity, while teeth have
a negative polarity. This means that plaque is attracted to teeth, much
as dust is attracted to objects in your home.
hyG breaks this ionic bond by temporarily reversing the polarity of
tooth surfaces. As you brush, plaque molecules are actively repelled by
your teeth and drawn to the hyG's negatively charged bristles, even in
hard-to-reach areas of your mouth.
By reducing plaque, the hyG Ionic Toothbrush makes it easier for you to
enjoy:
* A whiter, cleaner smile
* Fresher, sweeter breath.
* Less risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Ionic action proved in
clinical tests
Researchers at Marquette University Dental School report a 48.6%
greater reduction in plaque between groups, and a 51.87% overall
improvement of gingival health in the group using an active hyG ION
Toothbrush in a six month double blind study.
How to remove plaque with
hyG
Use your new hyG as you would any toothbrush, with one important
difference. When brushing, keep any moistened finger against the ionic
plate on the toothbrush handle. This will maximize ionic transfer of
plaque molecules between your teeth and the hyG bristles. For best
results, brush properly.
Work the bristle tips between the teeth with very short strokes at a 45
degree angle to the gumline. Be gentle! Too much pressure, horizontal
scrubbing, in particular, can damage your gums.
After brushing, rinse the hyG brush and store in a dry place. You
cannot keep your hyG too clean. A buildup of toothpaste residue can
adversely affect performance.
